High’s Cafe & Store began operation August 30, 2005 in a small 700 square foot corner of the building we currently occupy. We are located in the heart of the historic district in downtown Comfort, Texas on High Street. Our name came about pretty easily!
We are a casual eatery making the familiar extraordinary.

Breakfast
Granola bowl
Hearty granola, greek yogurt, fresh berries and toasted almonds
Breakfast Taco
Egg, cheese., potato, beans, bacon, avocado, fresh jalapeño
Paired with: Micheladas
Dos Equis on draft, lime juice, assorted sauces, spices, and peppers
Smoked Salmon and seeded onion bagel
Toasted bagel, smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers, red onion, lemon zest and fresh dill

Topped with parsley and parmesan served with sourdough crouton

1/4 pound of black forest ham, sliced genoa salami, provolone, relish (chopped artichokes, olives, sweet peppers) and coarse grained mustard served warm on grilled ciabatta roll

Juicy red wine similar to a Merlot
Desserts
