The Spa at La Torretta is within walking distance of the beautiful La Torretta Lake Resort.  It’s the perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon and leave life’s problems at the door. That is exactly what I did on my last visit.

As I walked in, I was immediately greeted with smiles. The lobby area is wide open and beautifully decorated. The large windows allow you to see the resort from a different perspective and it is an absolutely beautiful setting.

I enjoyed a bit of small talk with some other guests and then headed off for my massage. I’m greeted again with a smile from my masseuse and it’s off to Never Never Land. I enjoyed an hour-long massage and then was brought champagne. What a relaxing experience!

Next, in another room, I sat back and relaxed on a massage lounge chair that worked in unison with a mediation soundtrack. Wow! It was the first time I had ever experienced this after a massage and I literally fell asleep.

When I awoke, I headed off to the dressing area and hit the showers. Can I say amazing? The showers are a huge part of the experience here. You have a private shower with water that comes from every direction. This is something I need at home. I can honestly say that this was the very best shower I had ever had.

When it was over and I walked back out into the lobby, I made that comment to the lady at the front desk. She just giggled a bit and said she hears the same comment every time someone experiences it for the first time. No doubt, we are all on the same page about that.

There are many different areas to the spa and you can literally make a day of it. The friendly staff here will guide you and craft the perfect experience, just for you. They offer Massages, Facial Treatments, Wraps, Manicures, Pedicures, Salon Services, Men’s Haircuts and a Barber Service.

Go ahead and go crazy in the spa, you deserve it!  At the very least, stop by for a massage and take some time off from the daily grind. I loved every minute of my experience at The Spa at La Toretta and will definitely be back!
